Tracking workouts since January 2014/2015 but analog (since 2022 digitally). I'm a climber working on push/pull balance and general strength.
Push/Pull Balance Journey
As a newer climber in '22, my training was historically pull-dominant (1.03:1 push-to-pull). I spent the next few years intentionally adding push volume to rebalance, peaking at 2.60:1 in 2025. In February 2026 I stepped back from climbing to fully rehab my fingers — a break I'm holding through the summer — and switched to lifting only, 3–4 times a week. With climbing out of the rotation I've been rebuilding structured pull work in the gym, settling into a more balanced 1.69:1 in 2026 across 49 sessions so far.
